WESTCHESTER (CA), FINDLAY PREP (NV),
OAK HILL (VA) & TILTON (NH) WIN TITLES
The season is now over around the nation and the three HoopsUSA High School National Champions have been decided.  Los Angeles (CA) Westchester overcame two early losses to finish 35-2 to win the Traditional School National Championship.  Henderson (NV) Findlay Prep went undefeated at 33-0 to win the Consensus Rating, but the team they defeated in their last game, Mouth of Wilson (VA) Oak Hill Academy who finished 40-1, was given the HoopsUSA "National" Schools title.  Tilton (NH) Tilton Prep Academy finished 29-2 and won the Prep School Division National Championship.

2008-2009 STATE CHAMPIONS
All the State Champions and Runnersup have now been decided.  Each State Champion and Runner-Up, both boys and girls, are now listed. Max Preps (G-B) and Rivals have now caught up with my idea and they have done a good job as well but of course they have enormous resources which I do not.  This has not been an easy process for me but it's been  fun.  All the finalists are shown with their final won-loss records and the city the teams are from.  I am still updating but should have it completed early this week.  Hopefully my readers will be pleased having all the state results in one place rather than searching everywhere trying to get them. Here is a detailed list of champions and runners-up for each state............ AL-CO-CT-ID-IL-MD-MA-NE-NV-NY-NC-PA-RI-TX-UT-WY  

FINDLAY  PREP  ENDS  OAK  HILL  STEAK

Findlay Prep of Henderson, a school with only eight students, all basketball players, won the National Polls National Championship with a 74-66 victory over Oak Hill Academy of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia....Findlay Prep  -  An Opinion

EAST  TOPS  WEST  IN MCDONALDS  GAME
Lance Stephenson (12 points, 6 assists and 3 steals) of Brooklyn (NY) Abraham Lincoln and Derrick Favors (19 points and 8 rebounds) both game highs) led the way as the East defeated the West 113-110 in the annual McDonald's All American Game in Miami Florida (www.mcdonaldsallamerican.com). Favors has committed to Georgia Tech while Stephenson is still mulling over his offers before signing.
